Opening Ceremony of Schenker Gemadept Logistics Center

Gemadept Corporation and Schenker Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially open Schenker Gemadept Logistics Center in Song Than Industrial Park I of Binh Duong Provice. The Center is built to specifications similar to those in Europe but so far unavailable in Vietnam. The project, with total investment capital of 5.5 million US dollars, marks a step forward in the close co-operation between Gemadept and Schenker in nearly two decades.

The facility, with its 10.000 sq.m., will provide warehousing, contract logistics and customs clearance services to the factories in the Song Than Industrial Zone 1 as well as many other companies in Binh Duong Province and create best conditions for the further economic development of the province in general and the production service industry in particular. With both bonded and non-bonded facilities, this warehouse is flexible to suit the exact demands of our customers. The security systems  in place are TAPA. A compliant.  Using state of the art software solutions, Schenker Gemadept Logistics Center commits providing the full meaning of Contract Logistics and warehousing.  The Center serves not only as a key hub for the Vietnam market, but also provides a link to Schenker’s global network aimed at innovative and integrated Supply Chain solutions and Logistics with the purpose to bring highest effectiveness to esteemed customers.
